Chinggis Khan statue complex
Embark on a captivating journey to the Chinggis Khaan Monument, a majestic tribute to the legendary Chinggis Khaan (1162-1227). This imposing statue depicts Chinggis Khaan holding a golden whip in his right hand, casting a contemplative gaze into the distance. Located at the Tsonjin Boldog site, 54 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar, the monument stands amidst historic landscapes linked to the region's significant events. The statue exudes pride and honor, with Chinggis Khaan surrounded by 36 columns representing the 36 Mongolian Khaans. Crafted from 250 tons of steel, the monument creates a striking visual spectacle. Visitors have the opportunity to ascend to the exhibition hall using an elevator situated at the back of the horse. As you walk through the horse's chest and the back of its neck, you'll be treated to an outstanding panoramic view of the complex and the surrounding scenery.
