The Altai Mountains of western Mongolia harbor the largest Snow Leopard population in the country. Living between 2,000–3,500 meters, these stealthy cats blend into snowy cliffs, preying on Argali sheep and Siberian ibex. With guidance from local rangers and trackers, your chances of sightings and stunning photographs are significantly increased.
