🎉 ABOUT THE NAADAM FESTIVAL

Naadam is Mongolia’s biggest national celebration, held annually in July. The festival honors the three “manly” sports: wrestling, archery, and horse racing. Originally a military tradition, today it’s a national holiday filled with color, tradition, and pride. You’ll witness nomads in traditional attire, sample Khuushuur dumplings and Airag (fermented mare’s milk), and experience firsthand the pulse of Mongolian heritage.

🏔️ ABOUT ALTAI TAVAN BOGD NATIONAL PARK

Located in western Mongolia near the Russian and Chinese borders, Altai Tavan Bogd is home to Khüiten Peak (4374m), Mongolia’s tallest mountain. The park boasts dramatic landscapes of glaciers, alpine lakes, and rugged valleys. It’s also rich in history with Deer Stones and petroglyphs dating back thousands of years. Tuvan nomads and Kazakh eagle hunters still live traditionally here.
