Horse Riding Altai Mountains 11 days Adventure

ALTAI TAVAN BOGD HORSE RIDING 11-DAY ADVENTURE

Embark on an unforgettable 11-day horseback adventure through Altai Tavan Bogd’s pristine peaks, glacial valleys, and nomadic heartlands.

🏞️ ABOUT ALTAI TAVAN BOGD NATIONAL PARK

Altai Tavan Bogd National Park lies in western Mongolia, where the borders of Mongolia, Russia, and China converge. It’s named after the “Five Saints” (Tavan Bogd) mountain range, home to Mongolia’s highest peak—Huiten (4374m). The park is a protected area rich in biodiversity, glaciers, and ancient cultural heritage, including Turkic stone monuments and petroglyphs. Its inhabitants include Kazakh eagle hunters and Tuvan herders, preserving centuries-old nomadic traditions.

🐎 ABOUT MONGOLIAN HORSES

Mongolian horses are small but incredibly strong and hardy, well-suited for the varied terrain of the north. Raised in the wild, they are highly independent and have been companions to nomads for centuries. Riding them offers an authentic experience of Mongolia’s equestrian culture, often unchanged since the time of Genghis Khan.
