Embark on a remarkable fishing expedition in Mongolia, a country blessed with over 4,000 rivers and 30 lakes, all pristine and unpolluted. Fishing enthusiasts will be thrilled by the opportunity to catch a diverse array of fish, with Mongolian varieties known for their size and abundance. The Taimen, the largest fish in the salmon family, poses an exciting challenge, with chances to reel in specimens over 50 inches. Your base will be a fishing lodge along the Balj River in eastern Mongolia, providing access to a 10-15 km stretch of prime fishing grounds. Surrounded by stunning scenery and sparsely populated landscapes, this serene environment offers a perfect escape from urban stresses. The fishing season, from August 20th to October 20th, ensures transparent waters and optimal conditions for a memorable angling experience. Additionally, fishing is possible from June 15th to July 5th, with occasional rain during this period.

TRANSPORT
For this trip, you have two options. The first is a high-level, latest model, air-conditioned private 4WD vehicle for maximum comfort during your touring days. The second option is a Russian 4x4 Van, operated by a driver with 20 years of experience.
MEALS
In Mongolia, dining will take place at fine American, European, and Asian cuisine restaurants. The Mongolian diet primarily consists of mutton, beef, rice, and noodles, forming the basis of your meals. Trail rations may include vegetables, eggs, peanut butter, cheese, and occasionally yak! Some days will feature lunchboxes prepared by our cook.
