Approximately half of the population continues to lead a nomadic lifestyle, and this journey offers an authentic glimpse into their traditions. Spend days with nomads, participating in activities such as grazing herds, horseback riding, and savoring local cuisine. Accommodations include stays in traditional Gers or separate tents for a genuine overnight experience, providing the opportunity to engage with nomadic families, ask questions, and learn about their fascinating way of life. This trip not only allows you to connect with nomads but also includes visits to key attractions in Mongolia, such as the historic Karakorum & Erdene Zuu Monastery Complex, the serene Ogii Lake, and a rejuvenating spa day at Tsenkher hot spring. TRANSPORT
For this trip, you have two options. The first is a high-level, latest model, air-conditioned private 4WD vehicle for maximum comfort during your touring days. The second option is a Russian 4x4 Van, operated by a driver with 20 years of experience.
MEALS
In Mongolia, dining will take place at fine American, European, and Asian cuisine restaurants. The Mongolian diet primarily consists of mutton, beef, rice, and noodles, forming the basis of your meals. Trail rations may include vegetables, eggs, peanut butter, cheese, and occasionally yak! Some days will feature lunchboxes prepared by our cook.
